Message from the Deans
Welcome to our website!
I hope that you will find the information here at Wolbodo.org useful as you work to determine how to embark on your path to service as an Old Catholic deacon or priest.
The educational process at Saint Wolbodo is designed to fit with the “modern” student. Our educational program is divided into the following comprehensive programs:
School Without Walls In School Without Walls, you complete courses in a distance learning fashion. Based on each individual seminarian, you are enrolled in our self paced learning system either on a four year structured format, or through an independent study process. Both programs give you the flexibility to fit your studies into your active daily lifestyle. We augment your distance studies with podcasts, video lectures, and other multimedia offerings to maximize your potential.
Fill the Need! is our Apostolic Ministry participation program. Each seminarian completes a minimum of four hours a month of direct ministry in your local community. This can be anything from reading books to children at the library, helping out in a soup kitchen, visiting shut-ins, prisoners, or volunteering in a soup kitchen or your local parish.
Seminary Week Once a year, all the seminarians gather for a week at a retreat center to take classes and lectures together, enjoy the spiritual environment of the retreat center, and meet with the clergy and professors that they interact throughout the year.
Spiritual Direction Each seminarian meets monthly with a Spiritual Director, who works with the student in their continual and ongoing formation and spiritual experience as part of the continuing development of each seminarian.
I do hope that you will find our programs and offerings a fit with your desires and needs. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by calling toll free 1-888-650-1817, extension 106, or feel free to email me by clicking this link.
